Performance Air Ltd. was established on the 20th of July, 2005 by it's president and chief pilot Captain Kendall Ingraham. It is a fully licenced company that is registered in The Bahamas (#53297C). Insurance coverage is also provided for passengers with Liability up to $1,000,000 (Bah).
Captain Ingraham has 21 years with the national flag carrier Bahamas Air, over 25 years flying experience and has flown more than 20 different types of aircraft ranging from small cessnas to high performance turbine aircraft. Flight times exceeds more than 17,000 hours of which 95% is Turbine time.
Qualifications includes private and commercial single engine land, multi engine private & commercial Instrument with ATP rating. Additional qualifications includes certification and type ratings for Hawker Siddley 748, Shorts SD-360, Aero Commander Strike 500, and the DeHavilland Dash-8. Captain Ingraham also hold licenses and type ratings issued from the United States (F.A.A.), Canada (D.O.T), United Kingdom (C.A.A.) and The Bahamas (C.A.A.)

On Demand Charter- A walk up service for customers who would like to travel at a moments notice or make a reservation to charter a flight at a per-determined time.
Scheduled Charter- This servive is reserved for companies, organizations and corporations that needs to move passengers, employees or guests on a fix frequency basis. Persons requiring this type of service should make arrangements at least 48- hours in advance.
Air Ambulance- This service is provided for persons who are not well enough to travel on scheduled flights, or requiring an Air Ambulance. A registered nurse is provided on all life guard flights with a medical doctor M.D. available upon request.
Time Share Purchase- This service is provided for persons who desires to purchase bulk flight times for personal or corporate travel. Individuals or companies purchasing bulk time shares will have several options including priority flights during peak travel, hot meals, open bar, and XM satellite radio for your comfort and enjoyment. Aircraft- Performance Air uses the Piper Seneca ll, Piper Navajo Chieftain, and the Cessna Citation I business Jet, all of which are the luxury vehicles and workhorse of the skies. These aircraft combines comfort, speed, payload flexibility and the ability to handle any mission. The Seneca II and the Chieftain can be quickly configured in the commuter, executive or cargo configuration. Other amenities includes: air-condition, individual passenger reading lights, air vents, window shades, relief port-a-potty and cabin accessible baggage compartment. Our aircrafts are also equipped with airbourne colour weather radar, G.P.S navagation system and numerous state of the art avionics. The Piper Seneca II cruises at 175 mph, the Piper Chieftain at a top speed of 230 mph and the citation Jet at speeds above 450 mph. The Piper Seneca II and Navajo Chieftain both have an average range of 800 Natical miles while the Cessna Citation have a range in excess of 1,400 Nautical miles.
